About Our Organization
Founders and Board of Directors
The Findlay Community Orchestra's founding members and its dedicated Board of Directors have worked tirelessly to build a strong foundation for community music-making in Findlay, Ohio. This includes securing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, establishing rehearsal space, recruiting musicians, and cultivating the support necessary to sustain and grow this shared musical endeavor, which offers enriching orchestral music experiences for all.
Our Mission
The Findlay Community Orchestra is a non-profit organization that enhances the musical landscape of Findlay, Ohio by offering accessible, high-quality orchestral music experiences for both performers and audiences.
Our Director
Jeremy Sheets is a graduate of Capital University, where he earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education in 2021 with a specialty in stringed instruments. He is currently the assistant orchestra director at Findlay High School and teaches 6–8th grade orchestra at Glenwood Middle School. Jeremy is dedicated to fostering musical growth through community orchestra initiatives and warmly welcomes new members to join in enriching their Findlay Ohio music experience and enhancing their orchestral music experiences.
